T-Shirts and the Deal-A-Day Internet Phenomenon

I have discovered an interesting thing that the internet makes possible. There are several websites like Teefury.com, Riptapparel.com, and Shirt.woot.com that sell one t-shirt a day. The designs are usually submitted by independent artists and often border on copyright infringement since the sites aren't affiliated with Doctor Who or Firefly or several other cult obsessions they often feature.

So far I've bought 5 t-shirts from these websites, and they are my favorite to wear because if someone recognizes the often obscure reference we share a bonding moment. And I feel great, possibly sadistic, pleasure in telling people they can't get a shirt just like mine because the website doesn't sell it anymore.

But it goes both ways. If you don't check everyday, you can miss some gems, which is pretty genius advertising. And they totally tease you with a "graveyard" of past designs. Here are a couple of my favorites I was sad to miss:
 Link is SO CUTE.

The title of this design is "The Chosen One." Hahahahaha!
